Every glass contains a story

Very few industries come with as many regulations as the alcoholic beverage industry, both internationally and domestically. Especially so in countries with government monopolies on alcohol – such as Sweden, Norway, Finland, and many provinces in Canada. For these restrictive markets, this has nurtured a sense that it’s almost impossible to advertise alcoholic beverages. Well, other than showing a product alongside a price tag that is. And it’s actually somewhat true – if that’s the kind of advertising you’re after. 

However, advertising isn’t about individual assets, but rather about creating a need – for a product, a service or a brand. If you approach it that way, the possibilities are endless. Because time and time again it has been shown that a large part of the communication which truly works and creates engagement – is based on well-crafted stories told with relevance. And if there’s anything the world of wine and spirits is full of, it’s that: Stories. Our industry calls it “storytelling” – and that is the core of our entire business.
